Envision Energy Storage and Prevalon Forge Strategic Partnership for Global Energy Storage Markets
Recently, Envision Energy Storage, a global leader in energy storage and power system technologies, entered into a strategic partnership with Prevalon Energy, a leading energy storage system integrator. Under the agreement, Envision will supply more than 10 GWh of high-quality energy storage cells and battery modules to Prevalon over the next three years, supporting the deployment of utility-scale energy storage projects worldwide. The collaboration will address growing demand across applications including renewable energy integration, grid reliability enhancement, and power infrastructure for AI Data Centers (AIDC).
Hou Tao, Senior Vice President of Envision, commented:
"This strategic partnership demonstrates the strong global demand for reliable, high-performance energy storage solutions. Together with Prevalon, Envision will leverage safe, intelligent, and sustainable next-generation power system solutions to provide robust support for the energy infrastructure of the future."
Prevalon is a joint venture established by Mitsubishi Power Americas and EES. The company has deployed more than 35 utility-scale battery energy storage projects totaling over 6 GWh worldwide and possesses extensive expertise in delivering end-to-end integrated battery energy storage solutions. This partnership will further leverage the complementary strengths of both companies.
Drawing on its advanced battery technologies, global manufacturing footprint, and proven large-scale delivery capabilities, Envision will support project development across Prevalon's full portfolio of energy storage platforms, including HD5™ DC, HD5™ AC, and the Hybrid Power Stabilizer (HPS). Together, the two companies aim to provide stable, efficient, and sustainable energy storage solutions for renewable energy integration, AIDC power infrastructure, and other critical energy applications.
As a global leader in energy storage and power system technologies, Envision continues to drive innovation and expand its presence in international markets. In early 2026, the company became one of the first in the industry to achieve mass production of 700+ Ah large-format energy storage battery cells and 180 Ah sodium-ion battery cells specifically designed for energy storage applications, with performance meeting the industry's highest testing standards.
Envision's complete portfolio of energy storage cells has obtained major international certifications, including UL, IEC, and JIS, ensuring compliance with the stringent regulatory requirements of key markets in Europe and North America.
To date, Envision has established 14 gigafactories across China, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Spain, and has delivered more than 100 GWh of energy storage battery cells globally. The company is among the few energy storage manufacturers capable of providing localized production and delivery across multiple regions worldwide.
Looking ahead, Envision will continue working closely with global partners to accelerate the transition toward a low-carbon future through highly safe, high-performance, and highly reliable energy storage products and system solutions, fostering sustainable growth and shared global prosperity.
